We are proud to announce the release of our new book, The Cases of Owen Barham. It is a collection of short stories, unusual mysteries set in 1920s England. It is written in the style and language of that time period, and illustrated with black-and-white images to maintain that atmosphere. The main character is a university student from London, who manages to get involved in various cases despite not being a professional detective.

This is our fifth book. Previous novels include two volumes featuring an impoverished landowner- turned-detective in 1930s South Carolina; a Homeland Security thriller involving stolen military drones targeting Washington DC; and a novel of husband-and-wife PIs investigating murder and embezzlement in the Great Plains, which was released by Wild Rose Press in 2023.

Readers can follow us on Facebook and visit our Amazon author page.

Darin and Sarah Fortner are a husband and wife writing team who live in west-central Indiana, just them and their red tabby, Tango. They work as volunteer ministers in their community and enjoy reading, working games and puzzles, playing cards, and watching lots of movies.
